Hi - you can see averages by enabling the Stopwatch feature and choosing the values that you want, see here: http://codebox.no-ip.net/bitmeter2help/settings_stopwatch.jsp

What average time is it calculated from ? Is there any option to adjust this period ?

The average is for the period that the stopwatch has been running. You could also try adjusting the Scroll Interval value: http://codebox.org.uk/bitmeter2help/settings_options.jsp

To be able to pick no background colour (achieving transparency just for the backgrounds, basically) for the graph and the readout. Otherwise great app (2 and OS), it's exactly what I was looking for to replace DU Meter.

It would be INCREDIBLY useful to be able to select which adapter does or does not count towards the alerts that I have set up.

Although I can hide the data from a certain adapter, it still gets counted towards my alert, and this makes monitoring a monthly data cap relatively pointless.

Hi
Thanks for your great services over the years
" NetWorx "
I really want a bandwidth manager plus the following feature which is not available in current bandwidth application:

please if you can add such feature ,respond back & also mail me the updated (with such features) download link to amirbahalegharn365@gmail.com

Thanks in advance

Maybe I’m not seenig this, but can you run profiles based on leaving a location?I’d like to have a profile run when I leave home (leave my wifi network), like turn the gps on.

Sorry for my English.

1. I would like to extend the graph window to the total width of larger monitors. I have a 1920x1200 and I can only extend it a little more than half.

2. Choose the background transparency of the window. Regardless of the lines of the graph.

3. Transparency of the graphic window, selectable to 100% transparent.

4. Placing the numbers of the current speed within the graph. To do so thick the final program.

5. Choice of less than 1 second in The upgrade of the graph. 0.50sec 0.10sec.

this is the best net-monitor! congrats&thanks CodeBox! :D

I'd like the ability to choose where to save the logs, instead of just dumping it in docs and settings with no option. I'd be fine if it were not present in the GUI and required editing or adding a text file.

I hope that this is still getting some attention. Love Bitmeter2, I have finally found a home after two previous bandwidth monitors. I have one bug report and two feature requests involving logs:

Bug:
I did run a virtual machine on my system and set up a broadband dialup connection on it. When I download something into it, no matter which adapter I choose to monitor with Bitmeter2, the traffic is not counted. (Also, BM2 lists at least 20 adapters for some reason, please let me resize the window showing them.)

Now, for the logs:
I'd like to import backups from other bandwidth monitors.
Since my traffic consists of occasional peaks, I think a logarithmic scale as an option for the statistics would be really awesome.

Thank you for considering.

hello again :) thanks for this great freeware :) :)

question about the scroll interval value from this help page
codebox.org.uk/bitmeter2help/settings_options.jsp
does changing the "scroll interval" affect the data capture rate ?

currently it looks like BM2 grabs data every 1 second ? if i change the scroll interval to (say) 5 seconds does this change the capture rate, or does it just change the gui display interval ?

i'm using 56k dialup & every 1 second is overkill
there are some problems with taskmgr on win7 hp sp1 the link speed keeps changing even tho i'm connecting with 56k dialup. i can post image if needed

thanks !!

Great little program.

My only request is that the user can configure where the history file is stored.

I use it at work to monitor my internet usage. I use my login profile on numerous computers, so keeping history on the C: drive isn't practical.
I'd like to configure it to save to my network drive, which is accessible regardless of which terminal I use.

THANKS!!

Hi,
Great program, very useful. Something that would make it, would be the ability to start, stop and log the stopwatch details by CLI, so
you could put the start stopwatch command in a batchfile, download something and stop and write a log file

Thanks

Andy
