Combined DL/UL alert

Hi!

I'm trying the BitMeter OS 0.8.0 on win7x64.
I just start to configure the alerts. However It seems to lack a combined DL/UL filter!

Is it possible to add an alert for the combined DL/UL usage? How?

Best regards,

Hi,

You will need to add a new filter to produce a combined total - try this command:

and then restart the capture process:

hope that helps

Thank you, Rob!

I added the new filter and set a new alert with it.
However, I believe I may have encountered a bug!

I already went through my firewall (comodo IS) settings and as far I can acknowledge it seems OK. But, the internet usage seems faulty, specially the internet downloads.
I attach a screenshot of my current summary. The All Downloads/All Uploads work fine. But it includes LAN traffic which I was hoping to be filtered and tracked
by the other indicators (and I know it has internet traffic)

I am connected through a 3G usb pen. And use connectify in order to share it through wifi.
May this be related?

Thanks for the information, USB network adapters often cause problems (it was the same with BitMeter 2), so far I have no idea what the cause is and don't have one myself to test with, so I can't help at the moment :( Please post an update if you manage to get it working, as this might help others encountering the same issue

I'd like some help with the filter. I want an upload/download aggregate from the WAN interface (eth0) on my firewall, without including anything from the LAN interface. I'm not having much luck creating a filter statement to do this. Any thoughts? :?:

I may have cracked it. I wanted to measure all traffic on the WAN side only, to alert on my monthly bandwidth cap. The command I used was:

192.168.1 should be replaced with your local network IP. Don't include the host octet(s), only use the network octets. I'll use this for a few days to make sure it makes sense.

BTW, the previous post, "I may have cracked it...", was mine. I wasn't logged in when I posted it.
